Updating pixel shaders

Are there any advantages to using XMMatrices over D3DMatrices?

This way you set the values on your struct instance, and then use Update Subresource to update the D3D11_BUFFER with the new values, once that's done, you need to send the updated buffer to the GPU with PSSet Constant Buffers (in order to set it onto the pixel shader slot).
